Yet another scene inspired by the great “Franklin & South Manchester”, & yet again, only available for a limited time.
Some of you make recognize the “Old Dominion” broom company as the “Calendar Press” building from the F&SM… as soon as George first saw this diorama he instantly recognized the building. The secondary building in the scene is the “Homer Paint Co.”, the kind of business that would handle commercial paint accounts, anything from servicing professional painters, to selling the kind of paint used to line local town roads. It’s based on several of the “F&SM” sheds, although if we modeled ours partially burnt down you’d probably recognize it more quickly.
Both of these structures were themed so as to make practical sense along a right-of-way, & could be themed to any number of industries… even placed on a waterfront. Each features it’s own unique architecture they are quite different, but work well together in a scene.

This time around we’ve introduced yet more kit-specific castings, just designed for this project ! From the roof vents to the cellar entry these new resin castings will help define this diorama from the rest ! This scene provides a great viewing experience from any angle, with “360-degree” detailing, colorful signs, & so much more.

With a modest 12″x18″ diorama size, we’re sure it will fit on your layout as well!
