Nestled on the corner of a bustling cobblestone street, Klinger’s Pharmacy has been the heart of the neighborhood since 1923, where townsfolk once gathered not just for prescriptions, but for candy, cigars, and the latest local gossip. Beneath the glow of the old Coca-Cola sign and the towering Dad’s Root Beer billboard, the shop’s wooden door welcomed generations of customers with the familiar chime of its brass bell. Upstairs, the smell of lavender from the perfume counter would drift up to the rented rooms, where traveling salesmen and lonely poets alike found rest. Though time has marched on, the building still stands proud, a brick-and-mortar memory of a slower, kinder era.

This HO scale model depicts a charming early 20th-century corner building. The structure is richly detailed and built in a three-story red brick style with stone trim around the windows and corners, characteristic of vintage American downtown architecture.

  • Upper Floors:
    The second and third floors have tall sash-style windows, rented rooms above the pharmacy.  “ROOMS DAILY • WEEKLY”.
  • Billboard:
    The rooftop features a large billboard advertising Dad’s Root Beer, and a mid-level Coca-Cola sign projects from the facade—both adding period-authentic advertising flair.
  • Architectural Detailing:
    There’s a fine mix of textures including window mullions, cornices, and a slightly slanted roofline with realistic weathering effects. The scale and precision make it ideal for urban scenes in model railroading layouts.
