We’ve put our collective minds together in an effort to create something  “common”… but “uncommon” at the same time.
We’ve stayed away from “cute” & “novelty” type structures. preferring instead to create a scene that is both plausible and architecturally interesting.
Exactly the kind of industry that could be placed along a track, in an industrial section of a city, or even along the seawall of a waterfront… definitely a foreground approach no matter how you view it.
Over the years we’ve heard countless times how “craftsman” kits “properly positioned” are just so cool to construct & place on a layout… the key phrase here being “properly positioned”.
We’ve put in some real effort this time around to create a scene that “works” from ALL viewing angles… what we conceived as the “back” of the scene is actually preferred by a few of us here of the structure !
As usual we don’t include the figures or vehicles in the kit… but we DO include the forklifts, pipes, pipe crib assemblies, fencing, resin & metal detail, telephone poles, and countless other aspects of the kit.  Add some turf, a few figures & a vehicle or two to add some visual scale to your work.  (BTW, although you can’t see it well in the photos also included is a sheet of “brick” texture that we placed under the gantry assembly on the “front” side of the building !
